Soy Honey Barbecued Salmon

I guarantee this will become a favorite if you try it! Measurements approximate, adjust to suit.

four 6 oz. salmon filets, skin on
1 C. honey
¼ C. soy sauce
8 cloves garlic, finely minced

Mix the soy sauce, honey and garlic to make a marinade. Marinate the salmon filets 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Preheat the barbecue and then broil filets skin side up until the first side is done. Flip the filets over and baste with the marinade. (Discard the remaining marinade.) Continue cooking until the filets are cooked through but do not overcook! At this point the skins will be stuck to the barbecue but the filets can be easily separated from the skins with a spatula and served.
